BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 9. The number of active taxpayers in Azerbaijan increased by 4.7 percent over the year to 745,600 as of September 1, 2023, Trend reports.
According to the data of the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan, during the reporting period, the number of active VAT payers in Azerbaijan increased by 9.3 percent to 43,600, and the number of economic entities increased by five percent to 198,700.
In general, the number of active taxpayers in Azerbaijan has increased by seven percent over the year to 711,900 as of January 1 , 2023 .
