BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 11. The US Energy Information Administration (EIA) forecasts Middle Eastern oil production to reach 3.29 mb/d in 2025, Trend reports.
Thus, the forecast has been revised up by 0.01 mb/d, compared to the previous assessment. This outlook indicates a growth of 0.12 mb/d in regional output compared to the estimated 3.17 mb/d for 2024.
Analyzing the forecast, the region is expected to achieve an output of 3.23 mb/d in the first quarter of 2025, followed by a slight uptick to 3.25 mb/d in the second quarter. Projections indicate a further increase to 3.32 mb/d in the third quarter, reaching a peak of 3.36 mb/d in the fourth quarter of 2024.
Qatar, a significant producer in the region, is anticipated to maintain a steady output level of 1.91 mb/d throughout 2025, representing a slight increase of 0.05 mb/d from the 2024 figures of 1.86 mb/d.
Meanwhile, Oman, ranking second, is expected to see a modest year-on-year rise in its liquids output, reaching 1.07 mb/d by the end of 2025, compared to the estimated 1.03 mb/d for 2024.
