BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 15. Russia's oil production in 2025 is anticipated to reach 10.48 mb/d,Trend reports.
As such, the outlook by the US Energy Information Administration (EIA) has been left unchanged from the previous month's projection.
Russia's crude oil production is projected to stabilize at approximately 10.36 mb/d in the first quarter of 2025, rising slightly to 10.45 mb/d in the second quarter. This trend is anticipated to continue with an increase to 10.55 mb/d in both the third and fourth quarters of 2025.
For 2024, Russia's oil output is forecasted at 10.35 mb/d, marking a decrease of 0.07 mb/d from previous estimates. Specifically, in the first quarter of 2024, production is expected to be around 10.68 mb/d, decreasing to 10.39 mb/d in the second quarter, and further declining to 10.13 mb/d and 10.20 mb/d in the third and fourth quarters, respectively.
According to the EIA, Russia's oil production in 2023 was estimated at 10.75 mb/d, down by 0.22 mb/d from 10.97 mb/d in 2022.
Additionally, the EIA forecast indicates that Eurasia's liquids production is expected to reach 13.31 mb/d in 2024, with a rise to 13.6 mb/d in 2025.
