Iran’s industrial momentum falters with major drop in licensing activity
The number of industrial enterprises licensed for establishment in Iran dropped to around 18,000 last year, down from nearly 24,000 the year before. Planned investment in these projects also declined by over 30%, with job creation forecasts falling by nearly 30% as well.
