Global oil output hits new peak, IEA reports

Global oil supply reached a record 106.9 million barrels per day (mb/d) in August, up 20 kb/d from July, as OPEC+ continued to unwind production cuts and non-OPEC+ output remained near all-time highs, the International Energy Agency (IEA) reported.
