An agreement on investment protection is expected to be signed during the Czech Finance Minister Eduard Janota's visit to Tbilisi on Aug.27, the Georgian Finance Minister, Lasha Zhvaniya, said at a special briefing following his resignation on Aug.21.
The agreement was developed long ago and Jonata is arriving to sign this agreement, the signing of which will launch the realization of the projects of Czech companies in Georgia, the ex-minister added.
In Georgia, the Czech Republic is likely to carry out two large projects, including the '100 New Hospitals' project worth $125 million and the project (worth $133 million) on the construction of two hydroelectric power plants in the Guriya region by the Czech 'Energo-pro Georgia' company.
