According to forecasts of the International Monetary Fund's (IMF), the growth of Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in Azerbaijan is estimated to 2.7 percent in 2010, in 2011 - 0.6 percent and in 2015 - 0.7 percent, the report of the fund " World Economic Outlook" said. The IMF forecasts economic growth at 7.4 percent in Azerbaijan in 2010.
Inflation in Azerbaijan will be 4.7 percent in 2010 and reduce by 3.5 percent - in 2011, and up to three percent - in 2015. Iinflation in Azerbaijan amounted to 1.5 percent in 2009, IMF forecasted.
According to the IMF October forecasts, the initial forecast of this index for 2010 hits 5.3 percent.
Balance of current account in the balance of payments will increase from 23.6 percent in GDP in 2009 to 25,3 percent in 2010. This figure will be 24.2 percent in 2011, and in 2015 - 23,7 percent. According to a report in October, the IMF predicted a surplus of current accounts at the level of 23,1 percent of GDP in 2010.
