Uzbek Metallurgical Plant (Uzmetcombinat in Bekabad, Tashkent region) has announced three separate tenders for the production modernization, with a total starting price of $ 17.6 million, the company reported.
The company announced tenders for the modernization of a scrap-metal processing plant at a starting price of $ 4.8 million, a starting price of $ 8.3 million for the reconstruction of continuous machine casting, and $ 45 million for the reconstruction of the methodical section rolling of a heating furnace shop No.1.
According to the contest , the winners must complete the supply, installation, supervision, and commissioning of the main equipment. Delivery time is based on commissioning, and is set for a period between August and October 2013.
The competitions will be summarized during the fourth quarter of this year.
The projects will be financed by Uzmetcombinat.
