Iran unveils value of concessions provided for Razavi Khorasan Province

The Islamic Republic of Iranian Customs Administration (IRICA) provided concessions worth 1.9 million euro for the import of industrial equipment to the Razavi Khorasan Province (northeastern Iran) during the first seven months of the current Iranian year (from March 20 through October 21, 2020), said Mohammad Reza Mesforush, the Chairman of Industry, Mine and Trade Organization of Razavi Khorasan Province, Trend reports citing the organization’s website.

According to Mesforush, 108 licenses were issued for the import of industrial equipment worth about 27.5 million euro during the reporting period.

The chairman added that these were mainly for equipment in the textile, metal, mining, chemical, food and electrical industries.

“In addition, 130 licenses were issued for the import of raw materials worth 22.3 million euro over 7 months, and IRICA provided customs concessions worth 1.02 million euro,” he noted.

Mesforush stressed that these raw materials were mainly used in the area of metal industry, food products and soft drinks, chemicals, medicines, sanitary, electronics, automobiles and engines.
