Petrol worth $ 4.5 billion was imported to Iran last year (New year begins in Iran March 21), Iranian news agency İsna reported.
According to the report, the price and quantity of petrol increased by 67 and 154 percent respectively compared to the previous year.
Last year, Iran imported 7.8 million tons of petrol to the amount of $4,58 billion. This amount is 15.04 percent of total import of Iran and 8.3 percent of total import.
