Net income of "Uzneftegazdobycha" (Uzbek Oil and Gas Extraction), major subsidiary of the Uzbekneftgaz National Holding Company, constituted 2.94 billion soums in 2010 compared to 5.04 billion soums in 2009 decreasing by 41.7 percent, the company's 2010 report says.
According to the report, "Uzneftegazdobycha" mined 60.03 billion cubic meters of gas, 1.916 million tons of oil, 2 million tons of condensate and produced 356,743 tons liquefied gas and 129,150 tons of polyethylene.
In 2009 the company's gas production hit 64.046 billion cubic meters, oil - 2.228 million tons, gas condensate - 2.490 million tons. Production of liquefied gas amounted to 355,400 tons, polyethylene - 129,400 tons.
Thus, the decrease in gas production hit 6.3 percent, oil production - 14 percent, gas condensate - 19.7 percent compared to 2009. Production of liquefied gas increased by 0.4 percent, polyethylene - declined by 0.2 percent.
"Uzneftegazdobycha" was founded in 2006 as a result of reorganization of JSC Uzgeoburneftegazdobycha (Uzbek Geological Drilling and Oil and Gas Extraction. The company is engaged in development of oil and gas fields, oil, gas and gas condensate extraction, natural gas processing.
The company has 12 production and processing enterprises, including "Mubarekneftegas" "Shurtanneftegas", "Andijanneft", "Jarkurganneft", "Ustyurtgaz", "Gazlineftegazdobycha", "Shurtan Gas Chemical Complex," "Mubarek Gas Processing Plant".
The authorized capital of "Uzneftegazdobycha" hits 457.74 billion soums. The state owns 95.6 percent of the company's shares, including 51 percent of the shares are transferred to statutory fund of NHC "Uzbekneftegaz", share of work collective is 4.4 percent.
