BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 16. More than 12,700 tons of various hydrocarbon products will be on sale at the Iran Energy Exchange (IRENEX), on July 16, Trend reports.
The mentioned goods will be on sale on the domestic floor of the energy exchange.
The following goods are to be offered:
- Iranian Esfahan Oil Refining Company’s 6,000 tons of iso recycle, 2,000 tons of solvent-503 products;
- Kermanshah Oil Refining Company’s 2,500 tons of solvent-402;
- Shazand Oil Refining Company’s 2,000 tons of solvent-402;
- Shimibaft Petrochemical Company’s 240 tons of MTBE products;
Meanwhile, the value of total sales at the Iran Energy Exchange (IRENEX) stood at approximately 21.7 trillion rials (about $52.6 million), during the last Iranian week (July 8 through July 12, 2023). This is a decrease of 43 percent compared to the previous week (July 1 through July 5, 2023).
The products at Iran Energy Exchange (IRENEX) are sold under the SANA exchange rate.
The SANA system is a system introduced by the Central Bank of Iran to the currency exchange offices, where the price of 1 euro is 463,776 rials, and the price of $1 is 412,575 rials.
The sale of hydrocarbon products at the Iran Energy Exchange is of great importance to the country’s economy. Through the energy exchange, Iran seeks to provide hydrocarbon products needed by local companies, as well as to increase exports.
