BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 11. Kazakhstan's oil exports via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline in July increased by 7 percent compared to June 2024, the data of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) said, Trend reports.

“The average daily transit of Kazakhstan's oil via BTC in July amounted to 688 thousand barrels per day, which is 7 percent more than the June figure,” the OPEC documents noted.

To note, since the spring of 2023, Kazakhstan has been transporting part of its oil production via BTC.

The transit of Kazakhstan's oil through Baku to the Mediterranean markets amounted to 1.392 million tons in 2023, and this figure may increase in 2024.
