BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 4. The Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) AG consortium has announced gas flow nominations for its primary interconnections, Trend report.

On November 4, the Kipoi interconnection in Greece is scheduled to receive 383,673,291 kilowatt-hours (kWh) of gas, with additional 29,000,000 kWh planned for November 5. The Komotini interconnection shows exit nominations of 28,670,675 kWh for November 4. The Nea Mesimvria interconnection has reported an exit nomination of 30,346,301 kWh for November 4 and November 5 each.

Meanwhile, the Melendugno interconnection has recorded exit nominations of 321,956,315 kWh on November 4, with another 249,908,315 kWh scheduled for November 5.

As a vital component of the Southern Gas Corridor, TAP significantly enhances Europe’s energy security by diversifying supply sources and supporting the transition toward decarbonization. With an annual transport capacity of around 10 billion cubic meters (bcm), TAP has the potential to expand to 20 bcm, offering a dependable natural gas supply that strengthens Europe’s access to sustainable and diversified energy sources.
