BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 4. According to the Chamber of Accounts, the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) is projected to generate $1.8 million in revenues from the sale of profit oil from the Mishovdagh and Kalamaddin fields in 2025, Trend reports.
The state’s share in oil production from these fields is expected to amount to 0.03 million barrels.
Oil production at Azerbaijan’s Mishovdagh and Kalamaddin fields is expected to remain stable in 2025.
The forecast for 2025 stands at 0.62 million barrels, matching the estimated production for 2024 and the actual output recorded in 2023.
Mishovdagh field is located 80 kilometers southwest of Baku and has been under development since 1956.
The Kalamaddin field is situated northwest of the Hajigabul station, in the central part of the Kalamaddin range. It was discovered in 1978 and put into operation in 1980.
