Azerbaijan, Baku, 30 June / Trend corr S.Babayeva/ "On 30 June, Azerbaijani Communications & IT Minister Ali Abbasov, who is currently visiting Strasburg, will meet with the Secretary General of the Council of Europe (CE) Terry Davis at the CE headquarters," Communications & IT Ministry reported.
"Abbasov and Davis will discuss development of IT relationships between Azerbaijan and CE, as well as Azerbaijan's joining the European Convention on Cyber-Crime," Ministry reported.
A document on Azerbaijan's joining the CE Convention on Cyber-Crime will be signed during the meeting.
CE Convention on Cyber-Crime was passed in Budapest on November 2001. The purpose of the Convention is to bring the laws on cyber crimes, which are differing in different countries, into conformity.
