Revenues from the ICT sector and postal services in the total GDP amounted to 1.7 percent in the first quarter, the Communications and IT Ministry reported.
The share of income of the ICT sector and postal services in non-oil sector GDP amounted to 4.5 percent.
Some 80.2 percent of the income of the ICT sector and postal services fell to non-state enterprises. Some 74.5 percent of the total income fell to the mobile communication market, whose growth was 23.4 percent compared to the rates in 2009.
