The Azerbaijani Internet service provider elcell has announced new tariff plans for wireless broadband with significantly reduced prices, the company has said.
All new tariff packages offer several times more Internet traffic and lower prices. Now 500 MB of monthly wireless broadband Internet connection costs only 9 manat.
elcell also introduced a new Unlimited Nights tariff package for users with high traffic needs. This package is priced at 33 manat, includes 8 GB of monthly traffic and offers unlimited traffic from 2am to 9am.
elcell offers free USB modems to customers who sign up for 12 months in advance.
elcell's network is based on the iBurst technology from Arraycomm of the U.S. The main advantages are mobility, as well as the possibility of delivering the high-speed traffic and the construction of VPN-connections.
elcell's network covers the territory of Baku and Absheron. Since February, the wireless Internet network has covered Ganja.
The company continues improve the quality of service in the suburbs of Baku. In the near future it plans to launch the network into commercial operation in Khirdalan and Sumgait.
The elcell network will cover all major cities in Azerbaijan in 2011.
