BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 25. The volume of services provided by information and communication enterprises in Azerbaijan increased from January through October 2024.
Data obtained by Trend from country's State Statistics Committee shows that this indicator reached 2.8 billion manat ($1.6 billion), up 12.1 percent from the same time in 2023.
Moreover, the general public benefited from 72.3 percent of these services.
Revenues from mobile communication services in Azerbaijan amounted to over 1 million manat ($588,000) in the reporting period (35.1 percent of the total revenues of the telecommunications market).
To note, last year, Azerbaijan's information and communication businesses generated 3.2 billion manat ($1.8 billion) in revenue, representing a 16.3 percent increase over the previous year.
