ASTANA, Kazakhstan, March 22. Kazakhstan plans to launch two plants in Astana this year with a total cost of $23.1 million, Trend reports.

According to an official source, by the end of the year, a plant for the production of construction products made of concrete and cement is planned to be commissioned in Astana city, the capital of the country, with a project cost of about 9 billion Kazakh tenge ($20 million).

It is expected that initially the company will produce up to 150,000 cubic meters of gas units, with prospects for further doubling the volume of production.

At the same time, this year it is planned to launch a plant in Astana for the assembly of construction lifting machines and mechanisms with a design cost of 1.4 billion Kazakh tenge ($3.1 million).

Furthermore, according to the project plans, the company will produce up to 70 tower cranes, 70 construction elevators, and 70 forklifts per year.

Meanwhile, Kazakhstan is witnessing an active process of building and launching new factories, which contributes to the diversification of the economy and the creation of new jobs.

This step is stimulated by both national investment attraction programs and strategic partnerships with international companies, which contribute to the growth of industrial production and strengthen the country's position in world markets.
