BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan, September 8. The Eurasian Logistics Industrial Park is planned to be built in Kyrgyzstan’s city of Osh, Trend reports.

The construction plans were approved during a meeting between Temir Sariyev, Chairman of the Kyrgyz Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and a Chinese delegation led by Deputy Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) for Private Sector Cooperation, Liu Yang.

The park will cover an area of 2 square kilometers, with $41 million in investments allocated for the project’s implementation.

This construction gains particular significance with the launch of the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway, which will create substantial opportunities for the development of the logistics economy in the region, as was noted at the Kyrgyz Chamber of Commerce.

While discussing prospects for cooperation, both parties also reviewed several projects, including the construction of the Eurasian Trade City in Kyrgyzstan.

It is planned that the Eurasian Trade City will encompass multiple specialized trade zones, a conference-exhibition center, a logistics park, and an air cargo center. The planned construction area is estimated at 3 million square meters, with a total investment volume of $277 million.
