BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan, November 7. The 86,500 metric tons of gasoline produced by Kyrgyzstan between January and August 2024 represented a 5.4 percent increase over the corresponding period in the previous year.
Data obtained by Trend from the CIS Interstate Statistical Committee shows that the country produced 91,500 tons of diesel fuel in the first eight months of 2024, reflecting a 26.5 percent increase compared to the same period in 2023.
In addition, Kyrgyzstan produced 137,700 tons of fuel oil in January–August 2024, a 34.8 percent increase compared to the same period last year.
To note, Kyrgyzstan's industrial output from January to August 2024 soared to over 330 billion soms ($3.19 billion), reflecting a dynamic 0.7 percent growth compared to the previous year’s performance.
