Turkmenistan expands urea, kerosene and cotton yarn exports to foreign enterprises

ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, April 4. Turkmenistan has sold a large volume of urea, aviation kerosene, and cotton yarn to foreign enterprises on its State Commodity and Raw Material Exchange, Trend reports.

According to the exchange, Turkmenistan sold "B" grade carbamide to enterprises in Türkiye, the UAE, and Afghanistan for a total value of over $6.47 million.

The contracts for the purchase of these volumes of urea were concluded with Turkmenistan's Turkmenhimiya State Concern.

At the same time, entrepreneurs from Afghanistan signed a deal on the same exchange to purchase Jet A-1 aviation kerosene with a total value of over $1.15 million.

The exchange's data show that at the same time, other Turkish businessmen also purchased cotton yarn worth over $3.38 million.

Meanwhile, in recent years, the industrial production industry in Turkmenistan has been actively developing, stimulated by strategic investments and modern technological innovations.

This growth contributes to the expansion of the country's export opportunities, strengthening its position in the international market, and contributing to sustainable economic development.

The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan was established on July 29, 1994. It is the most important body of state regulation for export-import operations.
