BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 7. Uzbekistan has exported 76,700 tons of peaches worth $68.1 million from January through September 2022, Trend reports via Uzbek State Statistics Committee.
The export of peaches increased by 21,300 tons compared to the corresponding period last year.
During this period, most of the peaches were exported to Russia in the amount of 64,600 tons, followed by Kyrgyzstan (6,400 tons), Kazakhstan (4,800 tons), Turkmenistan (471 tons), and Belarus (261 tons).
In 9 months of 2022, the country’s Fergana region delivered the largest number of peaches abroad. The region managed to export 43,600 tons of peaches.
It is followed by the Samarkand region – 6,300 tons, the Tashkent region – 6,100 tons, Khorezm region – 5,700 tons.
