Iran's non-oil exports to Uzbekistan show growth

BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 21. Iran's non-oil exports to Uzbekistan grew by 17 percent in value and 15.8 percent in weight during seven months of the current Iranian year (from March 20 through October 21, 2024) compared to the same period last year (from March 21 through October 22, 2023).

The data obtained by Trend from the country's Customs Administration shows that Iran's exports of non-oil products to Uzbekistan amounted to 324,000 tons worth $221 million during seven months.

However, Iran exported about 280,000 tons of non-oil products worth about $189 million to Uzbekistan during seven months of last year.

The statistics added that Iran exported to Uzbekistan mainly milk and dairy products, petrochemical products, various types of pipes, glass containers, agricultural equipment, and many others.

To note, Iran's exports of non-oil products amounted to 88.7 million tons worth $32.5 billion during seven months of the current Iranian year. Compared to the same period last year, non-oil exports increased by 15 percent in value and 11.4 percent in weight.
