Iran’s IRENEX reveals products to be on sale for February 24

BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 24. A total of 73,500 tons of hydrocarbon products will be sold by Iran's Energy Exchange (IRENEX) on February 24, Trend reports.

Out of the mentioned volume, 11,500 tons will be up for grabs on the home turf of the energy exchange.

The following goods are to be offered on the Iran Energy Exchange's domestic ring:

- Zagros Petrochemical Company's 2,200 tons of methanol;

- Shiraz Petrochemical Company's 1,700 tons of methanol;

- Shazand Petrochemical Company's 1,500 tons of heavy distillate;

- Bandar Imam Petrochemical Company's 1,010 tons of MTBE (methyl tertiary-butyl ether);

- Fanavaran Petrochemical Company's 720 tons of methanol;

- Shimibaft Petrochemical Company's 700 tons of MTBE (methyl tertiary-butyl ether);

- Arta Energy Petrochemical Company's 650 tons of methanol;

- Bushehr Petrochemical Company's 500 tons of methanol, 210 tons of liquid nitrogen;

- Jam Petrochemical Company’s 500 tons of heavy distillate;

- Kermanshah Oil Refining Company's 500 tons of solvent-402;

Kaveh Methanol Company's 450 tons of methanol;

- Tabriz Petrochemical Company's 240 tons of pentane, 150 tons of heavy distillate, 150 tons of fuel oil, 42 tons of liquid nitrogen;

- Kimiai Pars Middle East Petrochemical Company's 200 tons of methanol;

- Setareh Pooya Caspian Company's (PAYA SARVE CASPIAN Co.) 110 tons of pentane;

Furthermore, 62,000 tons of products will be on sale on the Iran Energy Exchange's export ring:

- National Iranian Oil Products Refining and Distribution Company's 52,000 tons of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG);

- Persian Gulf Star Oil Company's 5,000 tons of butane, 3,000 tons of distillation tower residue;

- Shimibaft Petrochemical Company's 2 thousand tons of MTBE (methyl tertiary-butyl ether);

The Iran Energy Exchange's hydrocarbon sales are vital to the economy. Iran plans to boost exports while providing domestic industries with hydrocarbon products via energy exchange.

IRENEX sells its products at the SANA exchange rate. For the currency exchange offices in Iran, the SANA system is a system that was introduced by the Central Bank of Iran.

The sale of hydrocarbons on IRENEX is vital to the country's economy. Through energy exchange, Iran seeks to boost exports and provide hydrocarbon products to local businesses.
