On Tuesday, Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili issued a decree on renovating Bobokvati Presidential Residence into a holiday retreat for military personnel.
"Taking into account the special contribution of military personnel and the special significance of the armed forces in strengthening the defence and security of Georgia, the Bobokvati Presidential Residence to the Defence Ministry will be handed over to the military as a holiday house for servicemen, their families and the families of killed soldiers," the decree said.
The Bobokvati Presidential Residence is located on the Black Sea coast near Batumi.
