Turkish contractors should be actively involved in the Azerbaijani market as the country's economy grows every year, Azerbaijani-Turkish Business Council head Cengiz Gul said in an interview with the Anadolu News Agency.
"Turkish contractors have a stake at $4.5 billion in the Azerbaijan market. It is a very small amount," Gul said.
An Azerbaijani-Turkish Council delegation will arrive in Azerbaijan with the aim to strengthen cooperation between Turkey and Azerbaijan on June 18-22.
According to Gul, approximately 200 Turkish companies with total investments of $6.5 billion operate in Azerbaijan.
He said Azerbaijan has great chances to become a producing country with exports to Turkic countries without customs duties.
