Azerbaijan champion on fights without rules, accused of attempted murder, was freed from the courtroom.
The Court on Heinous Crimes ended the trial on criminal case of the world champions on fights without rules Sanan Dunyamaliev and Zabit Agalarov.
Upon the verdict of the court, Dunyamaliev was sentenced to one year and five days, Agalarov - to one year and five months' imprisonment. In connection with the enrollment of their term in custody in the term of sentence they were freed from the courtroom.
These individuals, charged with premeditated murder attempt and hooliganism, in one of the recreation centers of Nabran fought with six Khachmaz district inhabitants in August 2009.
Defendants, who provided testimonies at the trial, pleaded themselves partly guilty to charges.
Six stranger inhabitants began to hit them in a bar of Khachmaz, they said. Then controversy began between them and they beat these people.
Dunyamaliev stabbed one of them to protect themselves.
