Regular raids were conducted to prevent the cases of illegal hunting in Azerbaijan.
Employees of relevant bodies of the Ecology and Natural Resources Ministry conducted regular raids in the country's territory to study the situation on observance of the law "On hunting", the ministry told Trend.

During the raid conducted at the Samukh hunting area, a villager of the Goranboy region's Gazakhlar village Ziyabil Sariyev was arrested for dealing with illegal hunting. A hunting rifle and a cartridge were seized from him. An act and a protocol were drawn up towards this person and he was fined in the amount of 1,000 manat.

A villager of the Salyan region's Yenimugan village Siyaset Akperov was arrested for dealing with illegal hunting in the territory of the Shirvan National Park. A hunting rifle, 17 cartridges and an ammunition belt were seized from him. An act and a protocol were drawn up towards him. He also was fined in the amount of 1,000 manat.
