BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 23. Revenues of the state budget of Azerbaijan in 2003-2021 increased by 21.6 times, and expenditures - by 22.2 times, Trend reports referring to Executive Director of the Center for Economic Reforms Analysis and Communication Vusal Gasimli.
According to him, in the period 2003–2021, the volume of paid services provided to the population increased 5.1 times in real terms.
"Nominal incomes of the population increased by 10, and deposits of the population in banks - by 36.7 times. The average monthly nominal salary from January through December 2021 increased 9.5 times compared to the same rate from January through December 2003, while the average monthly pension increased 13.9 times," said Gasimli.
According to him, the minimum wage increased by 27.8 times, and minimum pension - by 10 times. From 2003 to 2021, the population increased by 1.807 million people, or 21.7 percent.
Gasimli noted that in 2003–2021, the number of countries with which Azerbaijan established foreign trade relations increased from 124 to 188.
"The country's foreign trade turnover increased by 6.5 times, including imports, - by 4.5 times, and exports - by 8.6 times. Exports of non-oil and gas products increased by 7.3 times," he added.
