BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 4. The number of passengers transported by Azerbaijan Railways CJSC in January 2025 exceeded 713,000.
Data obtained by Trend from the company shows that this figure grew by 15 percent year on year.
On that account, the number of foreign tourists traveling by train increased by 40 percent.
Among other railway lines, to date, 5,355 passengers traveled on the restored Baku-Balakan-Baku route.
