ASTANA, Kazakhstan, April 17. In the Abai region of Kazakhstan, the plan for the return of agricultural lands for the first half of the year has been exceeded, with 64,200 hectares of unused agricultural land returned, against a planned target of 62,300 hectares for the first half of the year, Trend reports via Kazakhstan's Ministry of Agriculture.
Consequently, the objective has been achieved at a remarkable 102 percent efficiency rate.
"By 2025, the region of Abai is expected to return 170,000 hectares to the state fund. To ensure systematic work, a monthly schedule has been approved with volume distribution across districts," the ministry reports.
The realized outcomes were facilitated through the synergistic collaboration of the Department for Land Resource Management within the Committee for Land Resource Management of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in conjunction with the akimats of various districts and urban centers. Efforts to facilitate the restitution of territories are ongoing.
