BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 26. Azerbaijan plays a vital role as a natural key and strategic bridge between Central Asia and the South Caucasus, making it indispensable in the implementation of major economic projects, Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov said at a special Cabinet of Ministers meeting dedicated to President Ilham Aliyev’s visit to Washington, Trend reports.
“This position was achieved thanks to the far-sighted policy of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, his determination in protecting national interests, and his international influence,” Jabbarov noted.
Jabbarov emphasized that the role of the First Vice-President of Azerbaijan, First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva, is equally significant in securing these historic achievements.
“The contribution of First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva in promoting the truth about Azerbaijan worldwide, shaping the country’s international reputation, and supporting the peace agenda in the region in line with national interests is indispensable,” he added.
