Aliyeva/ Real estate prices in the Lankaran region of Azerbaijan may rise once again in mid-March because of the repatriation of Azerbaijanis living in the CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States) to the homeland, Mirza Aliyev, the Director of Elnur OJSC, a real estate company said.
According to Aliyev, at present a one-roomed flat in the center of Lankaran costs $35,000 and a two-three roomed flat - $50-$70,000. A one-roomed flat in the districts of the city costs $17-23,000 and a two-three roomed flat $27-$40,000. The prices of houses vary from $59,000 to $300,000.
"The prices of houses were twice to three times cheaper several months before," Aliyev said.
