Tbilisi hosts international conference of the European Union as part of the EU reforming official statistics in the South Caucasus.
The EU has allocated more than one million euros for the development of international standards for official statistics in the three Caucasus countries, the European Commission Tbilisi Office reported.
The conference was opened by Deputy Economic Development Minister Irakli Gachechiladze and chairman of the Georgian Statistical Department George Pantsulaya.
