Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad ordered the vice-president for planning and strategic supervision to carry out the budget bill for the current Iranian calendar year (started March 21).
The Majlis (parliament) and the Guardian Council approved the budget bill on March 15 and March 16 respectively, the Mehr News Agency reported.
The Majlis set the national budget at $347 billion and approved the administration's decision to estimate oil price at $65 per barrel for the period from March 2010 to March 2011.
