BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 19. Türkiye's ready-made garment exports to Iran rose 21.5 percent year-on-year to $14 million from January through June 2024, Trend reports via the Turkish Ministry of Trade.
"In June this year, Türkiye exported ready-made garments worth $1.3 million to Iran, 29.3 percent less than in June last year," the ministry said in a statement.
Moreover, Türkiye's ready-made garment exports decreased by 12.8 percent year-on-year to $8.7 billion from January through June 2024.
"In June this year, Türkiye exported ready-made garments worth $1.3 billion, down 21.3 percent year-on-year," the ministry said in a statement.
The ministry also noted that in the last 12 months (June 2023-June 2024), Türkiye exported ready-made garments worth $18.3 billion.
