At the same time, since early this year, Turkmenistan resumed gas deliveries to Russia worth $30 billion cubic meters a year. The country will also open a second gas pipeline to Iran, which will increase the volume of sales in this country to 20 billion cubic meters a year.

Turkmenistan has concluded agreements with leading companies totaling $9.5 billion to initiate the active development of the Southern Eloten Osman field.

These projects and agreements are an important factor in intensifying trade and economic ties in the region, and expanding partnership, stability and understanding in the region in the context of international efforts to ensure energy security.
