The Azerbaijani State Agency for Alternative and Renewable Sources of Energy has prepared a development program, Industry and Energy Minister Natik Aliyev said.
"The agency is working to prepare a large program. We can say that it is ready, and it will soon be presented to the public," Aliyev said.
According to official, the Azerbaijani president has allocated 1 million manat for alternative and renewable energy research. The state budget has also allocated 40 million manat to implement pilot projects in this sphere.
"But I think it is too early to hastily join any draft. We are now discussing this matter with experts. We are asking the advice of foreign experts," Aliyev said.
