The President of SOCAR (State Oil Company of Azerbaijan), deputy of Milli Mejlis Rovnag Abdullayev received on Wednesday the delegation headed by Korean MP Lee Sang Deuk, SOCAR website reported.
During the meeting, Rovnag Abdullayev noted that there was a high level of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Korea. He described the experience of cooperation between SOCAR and Korean companies and expressed confidence in further expansion of this cooperation.
Presenting the President of SOCAR members of his delegation, Lee Sang Deuk reported participation in a meeting manager vice president of Korean Gas Corporation, and noted that there is great potential for cooperation between the company and SOCAR.
The MP expressed concern of Korean companies in cooperation with SOCAR in such areas as training, environmental projects, the liquid and compressed gas, petrochemicals and others. According to him, the Korean government is ready to provide full support to this cooperation.
Rovnag Abdullayev said that Azerbaijan is interested in modern technologies. According to him, it would be appropriate to use the experience of Korean companies in these areas.
