SOCAR plans to export 40 percent of Azerbaijani oil products in 2011, a high-ranking representative at SOCAR said.
He said that the company intends to process 6.4 million tons of oil in 2011. SOCAR will deliver 60 percent of oil products, obtained as a result of processing, to meet domestic demand, while 40 percent will be exported.
The company predicts the depth of oil processing at the level of 93-94 percent in 2011.
Light oil products are expected to reach 70-73 percent.
Up to 10 percent of the total volume of domestically produced oil will fall to aviation fuel, 22 percent - motor petrol, 35-36 percent - diesel fuel next year.
SOCAR produced 4.66 million tons of oil products at the two refineries in January-November 2010, including motor petrol, diesel fuel, oil bitumen, coke and LPG. The company produced 4.25 million tons of oil products last year. The growth of oil products in January-November amounted to 9.6 percent or 408,000 tons compared to January-November 2009.
