Iran increased its oil production by 46,000 barrels per day in 2010 according to BP's new report published on Wednesday. Iran's production grew by 0.9 percent to 4,245 million oil barrels compared to 2009.
According to BP's new report, Iran's proved oil reserves hit about 137 billion barrels in 2010.
Iran domestic oil consumption grew by 1 percent compared to 2009 to 1.799 million barrels per day.
According to BP's report, Iran's daily refinery capacity is 1.860 million barrels of oil.
BP estimated Iran's proved gas reserves at 29.6 trillion cubic meters in 2010, which did not change compared to previous year.
Iran 's gas production rose by 5.6 percent to 138.5 billion cubic meters in 2010. Iran's oil consumption reached 136.5 billion cubic meters compared to 2009, while the country's domestic gas consumption increased by 4.2 percent.
