Average price of North American crude on November 9 was $44.14 per barrel, or $0.19 more than on November 8, a source in the oil and gas market told Trend.
The spot price for WTI, produced in Texas, rose on Nov. 9 by $0.24 to stand at $45.2 per barrel.
WTI is mainly used to produce gasoline and therefore the demand for it is high, particularly in the US and China.
The price of WTS (Midland) oil was $44.45 per barrel on Nov. 9, or $0.14 more than the previous price.
The cost of LLS light oil was $46.2 per barrel, or $0.14 more than the previous price.
The price of Mars oil was $41.65 per barrel, or $0.19 more than the previous price.
The price of Bakken oil on November 9 amounted to $43.18 per barrel, which is $0.22 more than on Nov. 8.
The price of December futures for Nymex Light Sweet on November 9 was $45.27 per barrel, or $0.29 more than the previous price.
