Tehran, Iran, April 30

Trend:

Iranian Arak Refinery's gasoline production was halved due to RFCC unit's leaking a week ago.

An unknown source revealed that the repair of this unit is in progress, but the refinery's gasoline production was halved, Trend reports citing Fars News Agency.

“It is expected that the unit will return to normal gasoline production today or tomorrow,” the source said.

Referring to the exit of the RFCC unit of Imam Khomeini refinery in Arak from the production circuits, the source said this led the refinery's officials to decide to remove the unit from the gas production circuit, too.

“The unit's overhaul is at the final stages, and experts in the refinery are trying to set up the unit, which is expected to return to gasoline production circuits today or tomorrow,” the source said.

Imam Khomeini Refinery in Arak produced 16 million liters of gasoline per day, which was halved due to the RFCC unit's removal reaching 8 million liters a day.
