Specialists of Iran’s Arvandan Oil and Gas Company have overhauled three gas pumping compressors in the territory of oil facilities at Darkhovin field in the southwestern Iran, said Shahram Ardian, the head of production department at Arvandan Oil and Gas Company, Trend reports referring to the company’s website.
Ardian noted that the 15-megawatt gas pumping compressors are capable of daily pumping 2.83 million cubic meters (100 million cubic feet) of gas.
The department head added that several spare parts of these compressors used in the overhaul were produced domestically.
“Until recently, these compressors have been repaired by foreign experts,” Hajiyev said. “Some 700,000 euros were saved as a result of overhaul within the country.”
Arvandan Oil and Gas Company, a subsidiary of the National Iranian Oil Company, produces 227,000 barrels of oil daily. The company is expected to produce 1 million barrels of oil per day in 2026.
