BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 19. Azerbaijan imported 29,380 tons of RON-92 motor gasoline from January through July 2023, down 84.2 percent year-on-year, Trend reports.
The data of the State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan shows that the value of gasoline imported during this period amounted to $23.3 million (an 89 percent reduction).
The largest amount of imported gasoline (74.4 percent) was delivered from Turkmenistan—21,850 tons worth $18.7 million—during the reporting period of 2023. From Russia came 7,520 tons worth $4.6 million.
Earlier in 2022, Azerbaijan imported 198,790 tons of AI-92 motor gasoline worth $223.4 million.
