BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 30. The revenues of Azercosmos from providing satellite and telecommunication services (to 50 countries) amounted to $16.9 million in the period from January through November 2024, Trend reports.
According to the data of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communications of Azerbaijan, Azercosmos' revenues from the export of services amounted to 73 percent of its total revenues.
Furthermore, in November 2024 alone, Azercosmos exported $1.5 million worth of services to 40 countries.
Over the reporting period, Azercosmos exported satellite and telecommunication services to the UK (for $5.4 million), Luxembourg ($3.5 million), the UAE ($826,100), Pakistan ($639,500), and Türkiye ($600,400).
Meanwhile, Azercosmos' revenues from satellite and telecommunication services amounted to $19.8 million in 2023 (25.56 percent or $6.8 million less than in 2022). Azercosmos exported satellite and telecommunication services to the UK (by $5.8 million), Luxembourg ($4.1 million), the UAE ($1.6 million), Germany ($1 million), and Nigeria ($724,900).
To note, by the end of 2022, Azercosmos' revenues from satellite and telecommunication services amounted to $26.6 million.
