In Kyrgyzstan judges taking unjust decisions must be criminally liable, leader of Ata Meken faction Omurbek Tekebayev said at faction's session today, 24.kg reported.
Statute of judges' ethics must be adopted, he says. "Judges must be people with untarnished reputation who never were seen drunk, cussing out or brawling," said Omurbek Tekebayev.
Parliament member Ravshan Zheenbekov said it is impossible to estimate the quality of judges' work. "Judges are doing everything they want in regions. But the main point is that judges have to take lawful decisions. It were right to shoot hearings on a camera," he added.
