BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan, January 6. Kyrgyzstan's Kyrgyzaltyn enterprise, specializing in the development of gold deposits, is planning to open a new logistics center in the city of Balykchy, partially based on the foundation of its 'Motor Transport Company' branch in the same city, Trend reports.
As per Kyrgyzaltyn, the enterprise will be launched in partnership with the Russian International Academy of Transport company.
The project for building the logistics center, its future prospects, and mutual benefits for Kyrgyzstan, Russia and other CIS countries were discussed during a meeting between the Chairman of the Board of Kyrgyzaltyn, Kubat Abdraimov, and the Vice President of International Academy of Transport, Vyacheslav Chalov.
It was noted that currently, infrastructure work for the future center is underway, including the construction of buildings for the future office and a hotel for employees and prospective freight forwarders.
The company highlighted that this transportation and logistics center will provide space for freight forwarding and transportation companies, as well as parking for cargo vehicles. Additionally, services such as vehicle repair, customs, brokerage, and others are planned to be offered.
The main activities of the center will include transporting and forwarding cargo to the subsidiary enterprises of Kyrgyzaltyn, as well as providing freight transportation services to other economic entities within and outside Kyrgyzstan.
Additionally, the company will be offering paid cargo transportation services to the public and conducts vehicle repairs.
Kyrgyzaltyn is the largest domestic enterprise in Kyrgyzstan, specializing in the development of gold deposits. It was founded on October 15, 1992, with the aim of uniting enterprises in the mining industry of Kyrgyzstan. According to the company, together with joint venture partners, it produces more than 81 percent of Kyrgyzstan's gold.
